Cactus
Cactus or relevant plants that are thorny in nature should not be kept in a home(except rose).
Bonsai
According to Vastu Shastra, plants with bonsai trees and red flowers keep them in an open space or garden, not inside a house.
Tamarind (Imli) & Myrtle (Mehandi)
Care should be taken to avoid building a house where such trees are present because it is believed that evil spirits dwell in tamarind and myrtle tree.
Dead plants
At home never keep dry and dead/dying plants as they are not good for luck according to Vastu.
